Conscious breathwork with Shawn Gindt — for relaxation, stress regulation and recovery, on its own or alongside therapy.

Who is it for?

Breath coaching at Therakura — session setting

What is breath coaching?

In breath coaching, you learn structured breathing techniques that you can use in everyday life to regulate tension and support recovery. Guided exercises can help you to deal better with stress responses, to find calm and to support recovery after exertion.

How does it work?

Each session begins with a short conversation about your concerns. Shawn then guides you through the breathwork — calmly, step by step, adapted to how you feel on the day. The aim is always for you to take away techniques you can use on your own: before falling asleep, in stressful moments, or to recover after training.

Breath coaching does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. If you have an existing condition, or severe or worsening symptoms, please have them assessed by a doctor first — this can happen alongside the breathwork.

Frequently asked questions

What happens in a breath coaching session?

After a short conversation about your concerns and goals, Shawn guides you through targeted breathing techniques — lying down or seated, in a calm atmosphere. Along the way, you learn tools you can use yourself in everyday life.

Does breath coaching replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment?

No. Breath coaching is a complementary service for relaxation and self-regulation. Illnesses — whether physical or mental — should be treated by doctors or therapists; breath coaching can complement this treatment, but not replace it.

Who is breath coaching not suitable for?

With certain cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, pregnancy or mental health conditions, breathing techniques should only be used after consulting your treating doctor, and in an adapted form. Please talk to us beforehand — we’ll clarify this together.
