When osteopathy can be an option
Digestive problems such as a feeling of fullness, bloating or an irregular rhythm have many possible causes. The first step should always be taken with a doctor: only once serious conditions have been ruled out can osteopathic support for functional symptoms make sense.
In osteopathic treatment, we look at factors including tension in the abdomen, the mobility of the diaphragm and breathing — and assess whether your symptoms can be influenced in this way. To be honest, this also means: if we don’t see a starting point, we’ll tell you.
What to expect
A thorough case history, a transparent assessment and — where it makes sense — combination with everyday advice on movement and breathing. Osteopathy does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment; if your symptoms are persistent, severe or new, you should seek medical assessment first.
Reimbursement: Osteopathic treatment as a self-pay service; many supplementary health insurance policies contribute — see the reimbursement page. All details & insurer links →
